YAYGAY. I was pretty psyched to find out that Janis dates wymyns.

I was sort of reluctant to start watching Flashforward because I was afraid it would be cancelled before it got answered. But I also found out that the show is based on a book. So if it gets cancelled? I CAN READ THE BOOK. I was afraid it was going to go the way of The 4400 but I feel reasonably assured that I will not be left answerless.

On the other hand, I'm pretty excited that Janis is gay and I'm hopeful that the show wants to depict a realistic life of a gay person in a governmental/law enforcement position. I'm just mostly worried that ABC will feel pressure from anti-gay forces (like they seem to have from Grey's Anatomy stuff -- I don't watch it, I don't plan to watch it, I don't like it. So I don't know how right I am about this, that's my disclaimer). I'm basically worried that if they catch a lot of flack from people about Janis's proclivities that they'll take the easy route and kill her off.

(Although, when I was googling Janis some of the suggestions were "flashforward janis dead?" so I don't know. I'm not caught up yet.)

But I do think Demetri will live. I hope Dr. Benford does end up with Simon because he's hotter than Joseph Fiennes. No offense, dude, but I have to give a shout out to my love of British accents.

EDIT: Just watched the episode in which Janis gets shot. Will now move on to the next episode to make sure that she's not dead.

EDIT EDIT: Dr. Banford saved Janis. YAYDR.BANFORD!

EDIT EDIT EDIT: Janis (or the actress playing her) reminds me of Maggie Gylenhaal and Mia Kirshner. Which is odd because I don't think either of them is good looking but I do think Janis is good looking. Her voice reminds me a lot of Mia's.

Okay. I give up. Janis went back into surgery. I give up. I'm done editing.
